Adding a password to your user profile in Microsoft Outlook Express 4.5 Macintosh Edition

To password protect your user profile in Outlook Express:

  • Launch Outlook Express

Click on the edit menu and choose Preferences

The Preferences window should appear. Make sure Startup & Quit is selected on the left side of the window.

Do the following:

Place a check in the box next to Require password

In the Password: field, type the password that you would like to use and type it a second time then Confirm password field.

Click OK to save the changes.

You will now be prompted for a password when trying to access your user profile.
